The Graduate

So it was Graduation Day from preschool. We started the day getting fancy in my new dress that Miss Stacey got me for my graduation.

And of course Mae had to get in on the action, though her pictures were a little more, what's the word I'm looking for here... informal.

Got to St. Helen and had my two biggest fans with me.

Did I say two? I meant three! And there were actually five - Miss Stacey and Pax came too.

Some pics with my homeboys and homegirls.

We did a little alphabet rap for the crowd.

Got to pose with my best friend, Nadia. We're hoping to land in the same Kindergarten class next year because we are getting pretty inseparable these days.

And lastly, a picture of me with Mrs. Allison. She was one of my teachers this year (each room has two teachers). Mrs. Allison was that teacher that 30 years from now I will remember - her gentle but no-nonsense nature, her patience, everything. She is just one of those ladies that has a special aura about her.

I'll miss her but for now... SCHOOL'S OUT FOR THE SUMMER!!!

Photo Booth Pit Stop

So there's this thing on our computer called Photo Booth and I have always loved taking pictures of myself on it. Well, I raided the photo library I've compiled over the years and here are a bunch of my favorites:

So here's Mabel and me from a few months ago...

And Mabel and I in Paris...

And what's better than one Mabel?

Vampire sci-fi shots. WARNING: The following material may not be suitable for children under 6 years old. Wait, I'm... and Mae is... oh nevermind, we're all adults here.

Here's a photo session Dad and I did about a year ago...

(sometimes we lick noses in this house for fun)

(and more than sometimes Dad gives me kisses)

Another vampire sci-fi shot with Werewolf Dad jumping in for a cameo.

Here's me at Niagara Falls, just beautiful that time of year...

Dad and I when I was three and a half
I'm strong to the finich cuz I eats me spinach, I'm Popeye the Sailor Man (whoot! whoot!)

Miss Stacey and I doing silly faces

And the oldest one I have in the library - Dad and I when I had just turned two. How bout them cheeks?

Bunny Alert!!

Okay, so you guys all know the Big Bunny is coming this weekend. I wrote this note for him and I'm leaving it at my house but if any of you see him please make sure you pass along this message, it's pretty important.

There's a little bit of concern that he's going to miss Stacey's apartment building because it can be deceiving from the street. Anyway, keep an eye out.

Tee-riffic

So last night Stacey and Sam came over to hang out while Mom and Dad went to the Sox game, and we did this really fun craft.

So first we laid out sandpaper with our crayons and we colored stuff on them. Then we took the sandpaper and put it on the t-shirts and ironed on the back of the sandpaper...

And VOILA! We've got ourselves a couple new additions to our wardrobe.

If You're Happy and You Know It...

Go to the zoo! That's what we did today, and it made us, well, happy. I'm pretty confident in saying we have the best nanny in the world. Notice I did not say the city or even the country. I know that's a bold statement, but I'm going with it. In fact, we don't even call her our nanny, we call her our best friend, Stacey.

She took us to the zoo today and we did what we always do with Miss Stace:

We made funny faces

(Solid tongue face, Mae...)

We mosied (that's definitely not how you spell that word but again, I'm going with it)...

We laughed

And then we made funny faces again before she went home... well, at least two of us did. This is our moose face with our antlers, and that's Mabel's "I know it's only 5:00 but I'm ready for bed" face.

We're happy, and we know it.
