He's One! Let's Have Some Fun!

So Pax turned one last weekend, so we got him the old smash cake and let him have at it.

Wait, Pax, what's going on? You don't...?

Here, have a lick, you'll love it...

Well, he didn't, at all. Not until we got him a fork and then he was ready to roll.

Celebration pics.

Now we're talkin, Pax.

And after that mess, it's time for a kitchen sink bath.

Love.

This.

Kid.

Happy Birthday, Pax.

Pax's Recent Goings-On

PEEK A BOO!!

Yep, it's been quite a while since I've posted something. Wanted to give you a little taste of what the Pax Man has been up to lately.

First of all, he's walking all over the place but only when he has something in front of him. So we often find him walking around pushing a chair, maybe a box of diapers, his lion (with wheels). The other morning he walked in pushing the piano bench from the living room.

He also seemingly has a favorite musician which by the look of these glasses we are assuming is Elton John.

And one of his favorite weekend morning past times of late is taking a bath in the sink after breakfast.

So on to his first bike ride. He and mom headed out the other day for his first bike ride.

Here we are seeing them off running them down the alley.

He might not look like it but trust me - he absolutely loved it.

And here I am photobombing him.

Finley and Uncle Sam Want You!

Okay, so I turned two months old on April 10 (again, no cards or well wishes from anyone... shame on you) so we pulled out old Charlie the Bear and took photos of me next to him. And at the bottom are some photos of me on my one-month birthday next to Charlie so ya'all can see how I've grown.

Sorry this is so short, but I'm off to the bath because I have dried spit up in the creases of my neck that don't smell very good. We'll talk soon.

OPERATION FIRST BATH!!!!

So for the first two weeks of Finley's life, she had that amazingly distinct, fresh newborn smell. You would just be snuggled by her head and the smell of her just brought a smile to your face.

And then it disappeared. It was replaced by an interesting odor mixture of spit up, eye leakage, and diaper lotion, among other things.
So Operation First Bath commenced this afternoon and overall it went very well.
