8-Month Mabel Alert!

Okay, so we're a couple weeks late with these but seriously, it's been a long month with Mom out of town, then we went to Michigan and then last week Mom and Dad went to St. Louis and Mae and I went to Nana's for the weekend (great post to come from those pics).

But here is Mabel and Charlie the Bear at eight whole months.

Here's Mae at four months with Charlie, in case you forgot. If I remember correctly she was doing her DeNiro impersonation... wait, what? Oh, sorry, she said it was Al Pacino.

And it's Fall in Chicago, which means leaves abound...

And beautiful weather for trips to the park...

And it means Mae is still eating everything in sight.

And people just looking really darn cute.

Mabel Jane... Italian Mobster

So here's what's been going on with Mabel Jane. I will tell you what she's thinking in each of the photographs below, just like they did in "Look Who's Talking."

These first two, taken as her four-month photo with Charlie the Bear, should be listened to as if she is speaking in her best Italian mobster voice.

"Yeah, so I'm sittin with dis bear here, so what?!"

(and then sounding a bit more like Robert DeNiro in the movie "Heat") "You got a pro'lem wit me? You see dis window here? I'll throw you right outta it, I will."

And then the rest of these I was going to make up a voice for, but they really had no voice, so I'm not going to try to force it. Here's Mae in her chair while Dad and I are rocking out to The Beatles.

And then the other night was a REALLY big night because she had her first taste of cereal.

And this was the day she found her toes, which she thought was hilarious.
