I know the last two posts have been about Mae and this is not her blog, but she's been up to some really cool stuff so I thought I'd make it the trifecta with this post about her first haircut.
We took her to the same place Dad and I get our haircut...
And to show her how it's done we all agreed I should go first. So Mae stood by as I got a wash, cut and a dry.
And then it was her turn. She hopped right up into the washing chair and got a nice scrub and head massage, which she loved.
Then I accompanied her back to the haircut chair and gave her a boost because Josie needed li'l Mae really high up in that chair to reach her little head; and then it was on to the cut itself.
Post pictures proof it was a huge success. Her hair was cleaner than it had ever been in her whole entire life and it looked like Farrah Faucet's hair the rest of the day.
Oh, and Nana, I can see you shaking your head in disappointment all the way from downtown. No need to worry, we just got the ends trimmed.
