Someone asked me the other day what's been going on lately, so I told him to check the blog for that info, and then I figured I'd better get a post up about what's been going on... so here goes nothin.
Lazy days give Mae and I an opportunity to hang out in the dogpen. The dogpen is a term we use for our beds on weekend mornings. Papa made this up when Dad and my uncles were little, they all used to jump in the dogpen on Saturday mornings and hang out, so here is Mae and I in the dogpen.
Then we decided to go play some tennis...
So I helped Dad get the bikes ready...
Mae apparently thought we were taking too long and decided she wanted to go back to the dogpen and fell asleep face first on the floor.
It's been hot as blazes so I've been checking the vents to make sure the AC is working.
And a little "Memory" with Mom on the top deck doesn't hurt, either; especially when I'm finding pairs of turtles and monkeys left and right. Oh, and check out our tomato and pepper plants growing in the background.
One really exciting thing that's happened is Mabel is channeling her inner Yoda lately and learning to use the force to make her cereal bowl move. I mean, check out the concentration. This is what Jedi warriors are made of, my friends.
And then last Friday night we went out for some pizza at Crust.
And I got in a little coloring before devouring three pieces of pizza.
All in all, a pretty rockin Summer so far.
