Lights Out In Georgia
Lately I've been hanging out with Dad a lot and spending some quality time in the Bjorn and I gotta tell ya, it's really comfortable; so comfortable that, as you can see, I've been doing some snoozing in it.

Praise The Lord!!
So I got baptized a couple weeks ago, which was really great. Most of mom's family came in from out of town and we spent a lot of quality weekend time together. And dad's family was all there as well, along with some close friends.
Uncle Kenny and Aunt Erica are my godparents, which means that if my mom and dad aren't taking me to church like they're supposed to, then that is now the godparents responsibility to do that. That is quite interesting because Aunt Erica lives in Kansas City and Uncle Kenny has a tough time getting to church himself... so it might just be me, a bowl of cereal and George Stephanopolous on Sunday mornings.
One thing to note - I got baptized in a gown that is 112 years old and has been passed down through mom's family. My Great Grandpa Henry got baptized in the same gown more than 90 years ago, which is pretty sweet. Grandpa Henry is who they named the Oh Henry bar after. He was the youngest of sixteen brothers and sisters and Grandpa Henry was always getting in trouble, prompting his siblings to constantly shout, "Oh Henry!" The people from Mars caught wind of the family history and named the candy bar after him. That story is completely made up, but it flowed very naturally so I just kept going with it.
The story about the gown being 112 years old is not false at all; here's a shot of the gown.

Oh, and here's me with my grandparents and Great Grandma Muffy. Her real name is Mafalda Anita Bocelli, so as you can guess, she makes a mean spaghetti and meatballs.

Here's a shot of me going through the actual baptism ceremony with my godparents.

Here's a couple shots of me with mom and dad. As you'll see in the second photo, I'm sleeping in church. That's a little trick I learned from Papa and Uncle Kenny, infamous church sleepers; although I think they're a little more subtle about it than I am in that photo.

And lastly, this was a gift from Colin & Steph that I thought was hilarious so I wanted to share a picture with you. Not the most conventional baptism gift, but definitely the funniest.

Finley's First Swim
Uncle Brian went out and bought me a swimming pool and we went to his house to take a dip and I gotta say, I looked pretty darn cute in my swimsuit.
My cousins Isaiah and Eli were swimming with me, which made it even more fun.
I wasn't sure what to make of the whole thing, and there was a lot of just chilling out involved. And as you'll see, I kind of threw up in the water... that's just the way it goes sometimes.

3 Posts in One Day?? Yes, For My Mom
Yes, and this one is the most important.
Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful mothers out there (too many to list), all of you who have become new mothers this past year (Gina C, Jess, Becky, Kelly) and all of you who are going to be mothers very soon (Laura, Gina F, Jana, Deeg, Heidi).
Happy Mother's Day to my Grandmas, thanks for all the love.
And most importantly to me, Happy Mother's Day to my mom, who is more than I could ever have asked for.

I've Met My Match
So everywhere I go, it's my hairdo this and my hairdo that. And I have to admit, I started thinking that it was quite awesome... and then I met this guy and he taught me what awesomeness really is when it comes to a hairdo.

I went to Elmhurst with my Mom and Grandma L. to meet my Dad for lunch and while we were sitting at Egg Harbor, in strolls this kid, literally looking like his finger is permanently stuck in an electrical outlet.

I thought Dad was going to choke on his food he thought this was so hilarious, and he just HAD to get some photos of this kid, so he asked Grandma to hold me and pose for photos. While he made it look like he was taking photos of Grandma and me, he was actually taking shots over our shoulder of this dude.

Grandma L Comes to Visit
It's been a while, I know, and I apologize for taking time off, but even Michael Jordan took a couple years off before coming back to dominate. So after a couple weeks, I'm back, and badder than ever.
So Grandma Lammel was in for a visit about two weeks ago and we had an absolute blast. She stayed for about four days and we really had a good time hanging out, and I even laughed out loud for the first time... that Grandma, she's funny.
Here's Grandma and me chilling out

Here's me taking a few steps

A visit to the hairdresser (I did not let them near these locks)

Overall, it was just a grand old time
